Our achievements include:
- 2010 Winner of the LiveNation World Lilith Fair award given to the nonprofit organization selected as the winning charity by Lilith Fair concert touring Facebook fans in Philadelphia.
- 2009 Community Innovations for Aging in Place grant from the Administration on Aging for SOWN’s program Growing Healthy Lives Together
- 2009 Multi-Generational Civic Engagement Initiative grant funded by the Administration on Aging through the National Council of Aging to support SOWN’s Grandparent Ambassador Program. SOWN was honored to be one of 14 agencies nationally awarded this multi-year grant.

- 2006 Recipient of a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Local Initiative Grant to provide a network of support services for grandparent headed households

- 1998-99 Recipient of the SmithKline Beecham Community Impact Award for "innovation, excellence and effectiveness in their communities;"
