Organizations and individuals outside the Philadelphia region can become a SOWN affiliate organization. Affiliates enjoy being part of a nationwide network and benefit from access to:
- SOWN's detailed training manual: The Power of Support: A Guide for Creating Self-Help Groups for Older Women;
- our newsletter, The Sounding Board, offering practical tips and updates on issues and services for older women;
- regional training events;
- technical support to establish and sustain groups;
- access to other organizations within the SOWN network.
